ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Men's and women's leagues will be teaming up to organize a field maintenance day this Saturday, April 22, at 9 a.m. at Sunshine Park.

Organizers say they will be replacing 2nd & 3rd bases on all fields, the mat on Field 1 and some smaller projects along with basic field maintenance.

They are hoping to recruit at least one member from each team to help out.

The field work is weather permitting. A previously scheduled maintenance in March was canceled due to rainy weather.

DCWSSA (Douglas County Women's Slow Pitch Softball Association) is an independent non-profit organization.
