171114 Brad Lander 2NEWBERG, Ore. -- The 2017 All-Northwest Conference Football team was announced Monday afternoon, and the George Fox Bruins recorded a program-best 17 honorees, the school's athletics department announced.

One Roseburg High alum received honors.

Brad Lander, a senior wide receiver, ended his final season with an All-NWC second-team honor.

Lander was fourth in the NWC in yards (540), tied for second in touchdowns (7) and was eighth in yards per game (54.0).

He finished his career with 2,158 yards on 140 receptions and 14 touchdowns.

The 17 awards on the All-NWC team beats last year's record of 11 All-NWC athletes.

George Fox also recorded the most honors among the conference schools with 17. Linfield notched 16 honors and Whitworth 14.

Pacific senior and RHS alum Tyler Kailiuli was named All-NWC first team.
