SUTHERLIN, Ore. -- The North Douglas and Glendale boy's basketball teams have advanced to the first round of the Skyline League basketball playoffs.
The Warriors defeated Camas Valley 59-48 in Tuesday's play-in round to advance while Glendale knocked off Yoncalla 51-37.
Both teams will now face the top seeds at Sutherlin High School on Friday.
North Douglas faces Pacific at 3:30 p.m. and Glendale squares off against Days Creek at 6:30.
On the girl's side, Elkton advanced and will be joined by North Douglas in first-round games.
The Elks defeated New Hope Christian 49-48 Tuesday in their play-in game to advance to the tourney; North Douglas crushed Pacific Wednesday, 83-45, in the other play-in elimination game.
Elkton will take on Camas Valley in the first round Friday at 2 p.m. at Sutherlin High.
North Douglas faces Days Creek at 5 p.m.
