Second-ranked St. Mary's beat Douglas 5-0 in an opening round 3A/2A/1A OSAA girls soccer playoff match Wednesday afternoon in Medford.

It was the #15 Trojans (8-5-2) first trip to the postseason in the program's history. 

The 9th-ranked Umqua Valley Christian boys were also eliminated Wednesday losing to #8 Santiam Christian 1-0.

The Monarchs finished the season 10-3-1.
