The football season has officially come to a close for Douglas County as the two remaining teams suffered playoff losses over the weekend.

On Saturday, No. 8 Camas Valley lost to top-ranked Dufur 64-20 in the 1A state playoff quarterfinals.

The Hornets finished the season with a 7-2 overall record.

On Friday, No. 13 Glide suffered a 42-8 loss at No. 5 Santiam in the 2A quarterfinals.

The Wildcats finished with a 6-5 mark overall.
