The Camas Valley football team outlasted a late Powder Valley rally to advance in the OSAA 1A football state playoffs, holding on for a 48-36 quarterfinal win over the Badgers Saturday in Camas Valley.

The Badgers (7-4) battled back to tie the game early in the fourth quarter before the Hornets (9-0) answered, scoring 22 of their 48 points in the fourth for the win.

4th-seeded Camas Valley advances to the semifinals where they'll take on No. 1 St. Paul (11-0) at Cottage Grove High School next Saturday. You can hear that game live here at DouglasCountySportsOnline.

The Rangers of St. Paul knocked off No. 9 Days Creek 56-6 Friday night to advance to the semis.

3rd-seeded Crane faces No. 2 Adrian in the other 1A semifinal.

Elsewhere, in the 2A playoffs, Kennedy had no problem with Oakland.

The Trojans eliminated the Oakers 45-7.
