Roseburg Struggles at 6A Tennis Championships |

Roseburg struggled during the second day of the boys Class 6A tennis state championships in Portland.
Sophomore Sam Stadter won a pair of matches during the opening day, but was eliminated in three sets by third-ranked Brent Chin of Grant on Friday.
The doubles team of Patrick Foley and Matt Bruns was also sent home after a straight set loss during a quarterfinal match.
After Friday's action, RHS dropped from third to fifth in the team standings.
On the girls side, the doubles team of Lynsey Johnson and Shelby Roth was eliminated after suffering their second straight setback.
Canyonville Christian's Tim Chen won his opening round match Friday at the 4A/3A/2A/1A championships in Eugene. However, Chen was eliminated in his next match.
