Days Creek is the highest ranked basketball team in Douglas County.

The Wolves (6-2) received 74 votes and sit at number three in the most recent Associated Press Class 2A boys basketball coaches poll. The Oakland Oakers are tied for tenth. 

East Linn Christian Academy (99) was first followed by Western Mennonite (91); Days Creek (74); Regis (72); Central Linn (58); Pilot Rock (51); Vernonia (26); Gaston (25); Weston-McEwen (15); Faith Bible (13) and Oakland (13). 

Despite winning four games in the past week, Sutherlin moved down one spot in the girls Class 4A Coaches poll. The Bulldogs (10-0) are ranked seventh.

The top ten includes Madras (67); Banks (49); Gladstone (44); Philomath (43); Cascade (40); Mazama (39); Sutherlin (36); Tillamook (19); La Salle Prep (13); and Crook County (12).

Riddle dropped from sixth to tenth in the girls Class 2A poll, while North Douglas is 11th.
