Eighteen 4A, 3A and 2A football players in Douglas County were first team all-league selections in 2011.

Far West League coaches made Douglas High's Riley Lavin and Sutherlin's Randy Black first teamers on both offense and defense. Meanwhile, Oakland's Ryan Comstock and David Henry were the Mountain View Conference's offensive and defensive players of the year.

Joining Lavin and Black were Sutherlin's Beau Grauf (RB), and Trojans Levi Hastings (OL); Nathan Vosika (RB); and Brock Koone (LB).

The Sunset Conference's top teams included Glide's Ian Keough (K) and Brandon Halter (DB); along with Reedsport senior Charles Chavtur (LB).

The Mountain View Conference selections included Oakland's Ryan Comstock (RB/DB); David Henry (RB/LB); Austin Collins (OL/DL); and sophomore Jeb Harper (DB); Glendale's Zech Petryson (OL/LB) and Nathan Ring (P); Aaron Atencio (LB) of North Douglas; and Yoncalla teammates Tyler Graham (DL) and Austin Blanchfill (DB).
