Practices Underway for Local Semi-Pro Football Team

Douglas County's very own semi-pro football team has begun preparations for the upcoming spring season.

The Umpqua Valley Knights are holding their next practice on Saturday, January 23 at South Umpqua High School in Tri City from 9:30AM to 3:00PM. Also, the final date for new players is January 30.

The Knights open the 2010 season on March 20th when they host the Rogue Warriors.
