Oregon High School Football Season Ends

Lake Oswego is the 2011 OSAA Class 6A football state champion. The Lakers (14-0) completed a perfect season with a 47-14 win over Sheldon (13-1) in the state title game Saturday afternoon at JELD-WEN Field in Portland. Running back Steven Long carried the ball 42 times for 324 yards and four touchdowns in the victory. On November 25, Roseburg lost to the eventual state champions 47-7 in a quarterfinal game at Finlay Field.
