Umpqua Valley Overmatched in OFL Title Game

football_9.jpgThe Umpqua Valley Knights ended their season on a down note after suffering a 52-7 loss to the Portland Monarchs in the 2010 Oregon Football League championship game Saturday night at Milwaukee High School. 

The Knights' lone score of the evening came on a 68 yard pass play from quarterback Ryan Smedley to wide receiver Zack McGinnis.

Saturday's victory marked the third consecutive title for the Monarchs.  

Umpqua Valley finished the season with an overall record of 8 wins and 2 losses.
