Ashland won the 2010 single-A American Legion regional tournament championship in Bozeman, Montana with a 12-9 victory over Powell, Wyoming.

The Pilots (35-13) finished the five-day event with a record of 4-1; losing to the Laurel Dodgers of Montana on Sunday. However, the Oregon state champions were the last unbeaten team in the double-elimination tournament, so they automatically qualified for Monday's title contest.  

Ashland earned a trip to the regionals with a 7-1 win over La Grande in the state championship game. 

The Pilots also eliminated Roseburg Pepsi 9-6 in extra innings.
