Douglas County athletes dominated the Mountain View Conference's all-league volleyball team.

Oakland's Amanda Humphreys was named MVP and head coach Esther Arts was tabbed coach of the year after leading the Oakers to the 2A state tournament.

Five of the six players on the MVC's first-team were from area schools including Humphreys and Oakland teammate Taylor McLean; North Douglas junior Kaitlynn Rice and sophomore Sierra Campbell; and Riddle's Taylor Riekeman. 

Yoncalla star Hayley Reynolds received second-team honors along with Oakland's Brittany Baimbridge; North Douglas senior Deanna Vest; and Melino Gianotti of Riddle.

Honorable Mention selections included Riddle juniors Kailee Hanson and Alex Rogers; North Douglas's Kassidee Rice; Oakland sophomore Michelle Cottier; Yoncalla's Taylor Glenn; and Glendale sophomore Morgan Streeter.
