Trojans Take Down North Valley |

Nate Vosika ran for a pair of second half touchdowns as Douglas beat North Valley 33-19 in a Class 4A play-in game Friday night in Grants Pass.
Quarterback Jordan Schaffer also had a big night running for one score and passing for another TD; and junior James Simmons returned a kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown as the Trojans finished the regular season with a record of 7-3.
Next Friday, Douglas will host Stayton (5-5) in a first round playoff game in Winston.
The Oakland Oakers (7-0, 9-0) finished a perfect regular season with a 38-16 Mountian View Conference victory over North Douglas. Despite the loss, the Warriors (3-4, 3-6) will head to the postseason as the league's number four seed.
Elsewhere, Riddle lost to Oakridge 34-0; Glendale was beaten by Monroe 48-12; Yoncalla finished the season with a 25-0 win over Chemawa; Camas Valley (7-0, 10-0) upended Powers 60-0; Elkton was outscored by Gilchrist 50-44; Coquille downed Glide 52-14; and Gold Beach disposed of Reedsport 58-18.
