Roseburg point guard Josh Malone has been selected to play for the South squad in the upcoming Oregon Athletic Coaches Association 6A All-Star Basketball Series.

Malone, a first-team all-Southwest Conference performer, will be joined by South Eugene forward Spencer Colemen and Axemen guard Hayden Rooke-Ley. The South squad will also be led by RHS head coach Craig Stinnett. 

The OACA-Gatorade series features the top senior players from across Oregon.

The two-day event takes place June 18th at Northwest Christian University in Eugene and June 19th at Clackamas Community College in Portland.

Oakland senior Brittany Baimbridge was a third-team all-state selection after leading the Oakers to the 2A state tournament.

Baimbridge, the Mountain View Conference's player of the year, was one of three local athletes to receive all-state honors.

Yoncalla's Hayley Reynolds and Riddle's Melino Gianotti were named honorable mention.
