Lancers Stay Unbeaten in FWL |

Austin Page scored a game-high 25 points to lead South Umpqua to a 50-42 Far West League win over Siuslaw Tuesday night in Florence.
The 6'4 junior, who was celebrating his 17th birthday, scored 10 points in the opening quarter as the Lancers (4-0, 13-4) jumped out to a 19-4 lead to start the game. Nathan Phillips had eight points and junior Matt Yarbrough added six points in the victory.
On Friday, SU plays host to North Bend (4-0, 15-2) in a battle for first place in the Far West League.
The South Umpqua girls weren't as fortunate Tuesday night dropping a 51-46 overtime game to the Vikings.
Lancer Freshman Olivia Gulliford scored 14 points, while teammates Alex Richey and Kaysandra Maunu had 10 points apiece.
