Sutherlin begins its quest for a third consecutive state championships Thursday night.

Head coach Josh Grotting leads the seventh-ranked Bulldogs (24-1) into their opening round game against #2 Banks (22-3) at the OSAA 4A State Championships at Forest Grove High School.

Tip-of is set for 8:15PM.

Last season, Sutherlin beat Henley 51-46 to win its second straight 4A title.
