COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. -- Douglas County's semi-pro football team suffered a loss in its second game of the season Saturday.

The Timberwolves were beaten 64-6 by the Skallywags of the Willamette Valley Saturday night at Cottage Grove High School.

Up next, Douglas County faces the Grants Pass Generals on Saturday, March 19 at 7 p.m. in Grants Pass.

The T'Wolves opened the season with a week 1 victory over the Willamette Valley Crusaders.

The Timberwolves play in the National Nineman Football League, an Oregon-based, veteran owned, private entity, providing young men the opportunity to continue playing the game. It has been operating for 14 years, according to the league website.
