South Umpqua beat visiting Sutherlin 14-4 in a non-league softball game Monday afternoon in Tri City.

Freshman Aaliyah Rudy went 3-for-4 with a double and home run and Alexis Westbrooks pitched four solid innings to get the win.

The Lancers (4-3) have won two consecutive games and next will travel to Phoenix for a Tuesday doubleheader with the Pirates.
