Sutherlin has swept the top honors in Class 4A basketball for the third consecutive year.

Senior Kayce Mock was named the Player of the Year and Josh Grotting was tabbed Coach of the Year after the pair helped guide the Bulldogs to the 2016 state championship.

The 6'0" Mock led the team in four categories including rebounding, assists, steals and blocked shots.

Former Sutherlin standout Miranda Mendenhall was the state's top player in both 2014 and 2015.

Grotting has coached Sutherlin to three straight 4A titles and during that time the Bulldogs compiled an overall record of 82-1.

Sutherlin junior Taylor Stricklin was an honorable mention selection; and Roseburg senior Jordan Stotler received honorable mention honors in Class 6A.

The all-state teams are determined by a vote of the state’s coaches.
