BANDON, Ore. -- The Oakland softball team made the most of its trip to the coast Saturday, picking up a pair of non-league wins.

The Oakers swept Bandon 8-1 and 14-5 at Bandon High School.

Oakland is now 11-2 overall and has won 7 straight games. They lead the Special District 3 standings with a 6-0 league mark.

Two local teams tied for second in Special District 3 were in action against each other, with North Douglas (5-1 league, 8-4 overall) besting Yoncalla (4-2, 7-3) in a 12-3 victory at Yoncalla Saturday.

Glendale (9-4 overall) swept Hosanna Christian in a non-league twin bill and Riddle (0-5 Special District 4, 1-8 overall) fell twice to Lost River.
