TRI CITY, Ore. -- South Umpqua High School hosted its Lancer College Signing Day Thursday at the high school library.

Three SUHS senior student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to compete at the collegiate level.

Alexis Westbrooks will play softball at George Fox University in Newberg.

Ashley Orosco will run track and cross country at Southern Oregon University in Ashland.

Megan Orosco will join her sister at Southern Oregon to compete in track and cross country as well.

Several other SUHS student-athletes are still in the process of finalizing their collegiate plans and will be recognized in May, the school's athletic department said.
