The Roseburg baseball team snapped a 5-game losing streak with a win in the nightcap of its doubleheader against North Medford at Legion Memorial Field in Roseburg Saturday.

The Indians committed no errors in the 6-0 shutout victory after falling 4-3 in the opener.

Roseburg (8-7 Southwest Conference, 9-10 overall) is in third place, one game behind the Black Tornado.

The Indians host league-leading Sheldon (14-1, 15-5) on Tuesday.

Elsewhere, Glendale, North Douglas, Riddle and UVC all picked up Saturday wins.
