ALSEA, Ore. -- The Douglas County Timberwolves adult football team fell to the Central Oregon Outlaws 55-0 Saturday at Alsea High School.

The loss drops the Wolves to 1-7 on the season.

According to the NNFL website, this ends the regular season and playoffs will begin next week.

The Timberwolves play in the National Nineman Football League, an Oregon-based, veteran owned, private entity, providing young men the opportunity to continue playing the game. It has been operating for 14 years, according to the league website.
