WINSTON, Ore. -- The Douglas High School cheer team is still looking for sponsors to help fund the program for the 2016-2017 season.

There are 23 girls this year and all could use help with sponsorships as the cheer program is not funded by the school, program officials said.

For $50, sponsors can get their name or business name on the back of a cheerleader's shirt.

Sponsorships of more than $50 are welcome.

Each girl on the team needs almost $800 for the season, which includes complete uniform and poms, camp, camp materials and weather-proof warm ups to keep them warm and dry during football season.

Anyone wishing to make a donation instead of a sponsorship are welcome and encouraged to do so. Donations of less than $50 are also welcome.
