PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Douglas County-based Volleyball West club played one of its most impressive weekends to date after all five teams in the club won their brackets at regionals last week.

The win finishes off the club's season on a high note.

The CEVA Regionals (Columbia Empire Volleyball Association) at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland marked the final tournament of the season.

CEVA is the club's official Region/League with the USA VolleybalI organization.

The club features players from North Douglas, Elkton, Oakland, Sutherlin, Roseburg, Douglas, Glide, Days Creek and Myrtle Creek.

The club is currently based in Roseburg. They practice at Umpqua Community College and Umpqua Valley Christian School.

Volleyball West offers a club experience for Douglas County players. In three years the club has grown from a single team with seven players to five teams and 43 club members. This included merging with the Sutherlin Volleyball Club in the program's second year.
