The season opener will celebrate Mother’s Day and all moms get in for free.

Featured races include Hornets, Mini Stocks, PRA Hardtops, Pro-4 Wedge, and Street Stocks.

The DC Speedway features a 4/10 paved track with covered grand stands.

"We are fortunate enough to have the nicest facility in Oregon and arguably one of the nicest on the West Coast," the Speedway's website says.

The Speedway is operated by the Pacific Racing Association (PRA). The PRA is a not-for-profit organization with a board of directors voted in by the membership. This makes the affordability of racing easier on the racer and spectator, PRA says.

Racing competition occurs nearly every Saturday night from May through late September with a variety of divisions and events. These include Super Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks, PRA Hardtops, Mini Stocks, Hornets, and Pro-4s.

Special Events include NSRA Sprint Cars, NASCAR and novelty events such as the Boat or Trailer races, depending on the year.
