ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Professional lumberjacks will put their skills on display Saturday at the 2nd Anual Mike Forrester's Lumberjack Contest in Roseburg.

The event takes place this Saturday, May 14, at the Backside Brewery on NE Odell in Roseburg.

The exhibition and competition are free to the public.

It starts at 2 p.m. and officials say more than 20 pro-level competitors are coming from all over the northwest.

There will be saw, spring board, hot saw, stock saw, axe throw and other events.

All ages are invited; ear plugs are suggested.

There will be BBQ, beer and pizza served throughout the day. 

Live music afterward will be performed by Firecracker at 7 p.m.
