A Roseburg doubles team captured the third-place trophy at the 2016 OSAA Tennis State Championships.
Senior Stefan Ball and junior Lucas Ball defeated the fourth-ranked doubles team from Lincoln 6-2, 7-5 Saturday morning at the Tualatin Hills Tennis Center in Beaverton.
Five other RHS tennis players competed at the three-day including the doubles teams of Nicolas Norlin-Pritchard and Kyle Yates; and Paul Bonnet and Ethan Smith; along with singles player Adrienne Powell.
