The season is over for the Roseburg softball team following Wednesday's loss to visiting Reynolds.

The 7th-ranked Indians (22-7) were upset 2-1 by the 23rd-ranked Raiders and eliminated from the OSAA state playoffs.

The Glide baseball team scored 7 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to beat Vale 13-6 in a first round playoff game.

Junior Ryland Parazoo had a pair of hits for the Wildcats.

Next up, Glide (19-8) travels to Rainier for a quarterfinal game on Friday.

Elsewhere, the North Douglas baseball team whipped Prospect in the 2A/1A playoffs.

In 4A softball, Douglas scored an 8-5 victory over Crook County to advance to the quarterfinals.
