Dels Building Supply 2013 200x100

The race will be a test of endurance for the Hornets, the longest race for the class on the schedule.

The race is 100 laps; pit gates open at noon and front gates open at 4 p.m. with qualifiers starting at 4:30.

Racing is scheduled to start at 5:41 p.m.

The Hornets are a beginner, entry level class for learning and fun, the Speedway website says.

Cars must remain factory stock and are intended "to be cars that we race, not racecars," the website's Hornets page states.
