ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Umpqua Lions American Legion Baseball team has anounced its roster for 2016.

The Roseburg-based Lions are one of two area single-A legion teams along with the Pepsi Bottlecaps.

Both teams compete in the Area 4 North division.

Umpqua opened the season with a game at North Jackson Wednesday and plays its home opener against the Bottlecaps on June 20 at Legion Field.
