WINSTON, Ore. -- The Douglas High School football team is hosting its annual luau fundraiser.

The Douglas Football Luau 2016 takes place July 23 at the Wildlife Safari in Winston.

Dinner and a show featuring a special guest takes place at 6:30 p.m. following social hour at 5:30.

Douglas head football coach Silia Polamalu will be on hand with the traditional Samoan pig and chicken.

Side dishes will be provided by Oregon Culinary Institute.

Tickets are $45 a piece or $400 for a table of 10.

For $500, donors can get a table of 10 along with a banner displayed at the luau and the football stadium.

Attendees can make a tax deductible check payable to the Josh Bidwell Foundation. (Include 'Douglas football' in the memo area.)
