MEDFORD, Ore. -- Roseburg's Pepsi Bottlecaps won the first game of its non-league doubleheader against North Medford, but cuoldn't pull off the sweep Thursday in Medford.

The Bottlecaps won the opener 8-2 and lost the nightcap 7-2.

Pepsi (2-0 league, 4-4 overall) resumes Area 4 North action on Monday, June 27, with a home doubleheader against the Grants Pass Diggers.

Elsewhere, Roseburg's Umpqua Lions suffered a non-league sweep at Central Point Thursday, 7-0 and 7-2.

The Lions travel to Hidden Valley for a non-league twin bill on Monday, June 27.

Elsewhere, the Dr. Stewart's suffered two losses against two different teams Thursday.
