GLADSTONE, Ore. -- A local summer team is adding to its trophy rack after taking third last weekend in an out-of-town tournament.

The Umpqua Valley All Stars 11-and-under baseball squad took third in the Gladstone Junior Baseball of Oregon Tournament last weekend.

The team plays its next tournament this weekend in Estacada.

Umpqua Valley is coached by Scott McKnight and Josh Bangs.

The team is made up of Roseburg based players, along with two from Sutherlin and one from Oakland.
