GLIDE, Ore. -- Glide High School's longtime baseball coach is starting a new chapter in life.

Al Skinner has retired as the school's Athletic Director, Dean of Students, and Head Baseball Coach after 25 years.

He began coaching at Glide in the fall of 1991.

Skinner was also the head coach of the Dr. Stewart's American Legion baseball team.

Skinner tells KPIC News he plans to go to Europe with his wife to teach fo ra couple of years.
