EUGENE, Ore. -- The Roseburg Dr. Stewart's suffered a doubleheader sweep against Eugene at Swede Johnson Stadium Thursday evening in the opening night of conference play.

Andrew Harrington blasted a solo home run but it wasn't enough as the Challengers prevailed 7-5 in the opener.

Eugene handed the Docs a 6-2 loss in the nightcap.

Roseburg fell to 0-2 in Area 4 Conference play, 1-4 overall.

The Docs are back in action Friday with a non-league game against Fairfield, California at 7 p.m.

This will be followed by a second game against Fairfield at 10 a.m. Saturday.
