ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Roseburg's single-A American Legion baseball teams opened Area 4 action with a league doubleheader Monday night at Legion Field.

Luke Lucido and Alex Muck each had a pair of hits and Zack Mandera struck out five batters in 6 innings of work to lead the Pepsi Bottlecaps to a 2-1 win over the Umpqua Lions in the opener.

Brendan Ibarra smacked a two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning to plate the game-winning run in a 5-4 comeback victory in game two.

The Lions (0-2, 0-3) held a 4-1 lead, but three errors led to four runs in the decisive sixth inning.
