GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- Roseburg's Umpqua Lions had no trouble Tuesday racking up double-digit runs against the Grants Pass Miners in a doubleheader sweep.

The Lions won the first game 20-3 in a 5-inning mercy rule-shortened game in Grants Pass.

Carter Dahl was 3-for-3 with 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored, Kyler Leischner had 3 RBIs and scored 2 runs, and Taylor Gross 2-for-3 with 3 runs and an RBI.

The second game was closer, but Umpqua still managed to sweep the Miners.

Dahl was impressive on the mound, thowing a 2-hit shutout in the nightcap in the Lions 4-0 win.

Dahl was 2-for-3 at the plate as well, with 2 runs scored. Bailey Johnson also scored 2 runs.

Umpqua improved to 4-2 in the Area 4 North with the sweep.
