NORTH BEND, Ore. -- Roseburg's Umpqua Lions made it a clean sweep Monday at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend.

The Lions picked up two league victories, defeating the North Coos Waterfront in two close games, 5-3 and 2-1.

Umpqua improved to 7-3 in the Area 4 North, 9-10 overall.

They Lions are in second place behind local rival Roseburg Pepsi (11-1, 15-6).

Umpqua plays at South Medford on Wednesday.
