The Roseburg Dr. Stewart's played two games Thursday at Legion Field against two different oppoenets. One was from a different cuontry and the other joined Roseburg for a wooden bat game later in the evening.

And both games ended with a 6-5 score.

Unfortunately, it was the Docs on the losing end of both.

Roseburg played a traveling team from Australia Thursday afternoon and lost 6-5 before taking on Corvallis in the wooden bat affair later in the evening, where they again suffered a 6-5 loss.

The Docs (0-4 Area 4 League, 2-9 overall) turn around Friday and host two teams once again, with games against Mid Valley of Albany and Corvallis at Legion Field.

Elsewhere in single-A ball, the Pepsi Bottlecaps split with North Medford Thursday and the Umpqua Lions were swept at Central Point.
