ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Roseburg Dr. Stewart's sort of split their two games on opening day of the Pee Wee Kelley Tournament in Roseburg Friday at Legion Field.

Roseburg snapped a 5-game losing streak with a close 3-2 over the Mid Valley Rockets of Albany in the early game.

But the late game was even closer.

The Docs and Corvallis played to a 10-10 tie after the game was called due to a 2-hour tournament time limit.

Mid Valley and Perth, Australia are both 0-2 in the tourney.

Vancouver is 2-0 while the Docs and Corvallis are 1-0-1 after the first day.

The Docs continue Saturday with games at 5:30 against Medford (1-1 in tournament play) and 7:45 against Vancouver at Legion Field.
