EUGENE, Ore. -- The Roseburg Brewers adult baseball team picked up another league win Sunday after splitting a road doubleheader with the Eugene Cardinals.

The Brewers took the opener 10-1 and lost a heartbreaker in the nightcap, 12-11.

The Brewers trailed 9-0 after 3 innings in the second game before rallying back to take an 11-10 lead into the 7th, and final, inning before the Cards were able to mount a mini-comeback of their own for the win.

The Brewers' win in the opener was their third straight following a sweep over the Creswell Expos the week before.

Roseburg is 5-9 in the EMSBL and travels to Sheldon HIgh School Sunday to take on the Eugene Cubs in an 11 a.m. doubleheader.
