ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Roseburg's Umpqua Lions made it a season sweep over North Coos with two wins Sunday at Legion Field.

The Lions swept the Waterfront by scores of 2-1 and 3-2 to improve to 9-3 in the Area 4 North standings.

Umpqua followed up the wins with another close game, this time losing to North Medford 14-13 in a non-leaguer at Legion Field Monday.

The Lions travel to Grants Pass for a Tuesday league twinbill against the Diggers (7-5 league) beginning at 6 p.m.
