ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Roseburg Renegades 16U Junior State baseball team continues to roll after knocking off Thurston Black in both games of a Thursday doubleheader at Sunshine Park.
Roseburg took the first game 12-0 in a 5-inning mercy rule-shortened game.
The nightcap was closer, with the Renegades pulling out 13-12 slugfest win.
"We played well in game one. We definitely made it interesting in game two and ended up getting them in the bottom of the 7th," Renegades coach Tim Sustaire said.
It was the 6th straight win for Roseburg.
The Renegades visit North Eugene for a doubleheader Saturday at Swede Johnson Stadium.
