CENTRAL POINT, Ore. -- Roseburg's Pepsi Bottlecaps suffered their first defeat at the Oregon 'A' American Legion Baseball State Tournament in Central Point.
The 'Caps couldn't get the bats going and fell to North Medford 5-1 in a battle of unbeaten teams at the tournament.
Luke Lucido had an RBI sacrifice fly in the top of the first that scored Brendan Ibarra for Roseburg's only run of the contest.
Collin Warmouth had two hits for the Bottlecaps.
Roseburg will try to battle back in the elimination bracket with a 12 p.m. game against North Jackson Saturday.
