ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Roseburg Brewers adult baseball team finished its 2016 season with a split against the Eugene Grays, a team tied for first place in the league standings.

The Brewers won the first game of Sunday's doubleheader 4-2 and lost the second game, also 4-2.

Chad Walker hit his second home run of the season.

The Brewers finished the EMSBL season with a 6-14 record.

Due to a shortage of players throughout the season and a shortfall in funding, the team has set up a GoFundMe account to raise the balance of its league fees for this season.

The EMSBL league entry fee is $3,180 per team. The Brewers face a shortfall of $400. As of this writing, contributors have already pledged $125 of the needed total.
