DOUGLAS COUNTY -- Football season kicks off this Friday in Douglas County, with several schools in action to kick off the 2016 season. All games begin at 7 p.m., except where noted.

In Class 6A action, Roseburg kicks off the Dave Hueberger era witha  non-leaguer at Gresham.

In Class 4A, Valley Catholic visits Douglas, South Umpqua is at Mazama  and 2A Oakland visits Sutherlin.

Glide hosts Bandon in 3A football.

In the 2A ranks, Glendale is at Riddle and Reedsport hosts Gaston.

In Class 1A eight-man football, North Douglas hosts Powers and Elkton is at Yoncalla.

Dufur Eight-Man Classic - Dufur HS

Camas Valley faces Adrian at 4 p.m. at the Dufur Eight-Man Classic and Days Creek plays Powder Valley on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Dufur.
