The Douglas volleyball team is in sole possession of third place in the Far West League.

The Trojans won the final two sets to beat visiting Marshfield 25-14, 20-25, 22-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Douglas improves to 3-2 in league, while the Pirates drop to 2-3.

Elsewhere, South Umpqua (2-3 FWL) swept Brookings-Harbor 25-9, 25-12, 26-24; and North Bend handed Siuslaw its first league loss 25-22, 25-23, 25-27, 25-21.
